At TCCL we appreciate the importance of routine for both children and adults, so we follow your baby’s routine throughout their sessions with us. Practitioners aim to build strong partnerships with parents to help ensure the same level of acre between the home and nursery settings.
Practitioners can support parents with weaning, routines and other areas of their child’s development.
The baby room has storage for nappies in our nappy unit and coat pegs for personal belongings, as the children grow they will be encouraged to find their own picture and chose their coat peg for the day.
Our babies enjoy a range of daily activities to suit their individual interests and developmental needs, babies can enjoy lots of sensory play, messy pay, hand-eye coordination activities, singing and dancing and small world play to name but a few. The children also have access to the nursery garden at least twice a day.
The baby room is staffed by Charley, our experienced Room leader and Emma, a newly qualified level 3 practitioner and supported by Jade, a level 3 apprentice. This provides a good level of adult to child ratio.
We also have in-house CCTV in every room, enabling management to oversee the base rooms at all times offering a secure environment for all children, staff and visitors.
